Sleeping DoormanDoes the doorman sleep while I lay wake? I knock on the door to my subconscious only to be denied time after time night after night until madness seeps from my pores and the red hew of timeSleeping Doorman
haunts me with every minutes pass. I think that instead he has a sense of humor when I cry out that I need sleep he snickers and pretends not to hear as more time dissolves into time itself and I tell myself that it is too late and I wont get the sleep I need he thrusts the doors open and finally I lay to rest but now through the corridors I have to run run as fast as I can &nbs

it hits my nostrils like a shovel along with the droll feeling of bore
a hot soft wind runs its fingers across my neck drying clothes flutter like moths and the water in my pool lay still even though I am wearing my trunks
friends who are lost will never understand they are sailing in a sea of fake fifteen bucks a month for adventure adventure they will never truly embark
they sit in their chairs and pretend they are changed into heroes whilst I sit in the sun and snore
